About Evree Therapy
I'm a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist with a genuine passion for helping people find their way through difficult times — whatever those look like for you.
My Story
I came to therapy because I believe deeply in its power to change lives. Over the years I have had the privilege of working with adults and children facing a wide range of challenges — anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, and the quiet but persistent feeling that something just isn't right.
My practice is built on warmth, honesty, and a genuine curiosity about the people I work with. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — every person is unique, and our work together will be shaped entirely around you.
Whether you're coming to therapy for the first time or returning after a break, I want you to feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported from the very first session.
Training & Credentials
I hold a postgraduate qualification in psychotherapy and counselling and am an accredited member with NCPS and registered member of the BACP, which means I work to strict ethical frameworks and engage in regular supervision and continuing professional development.
How I Work
I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, always guided by what feels most helpful for you. There is no rigid formula — our work together will evolve as you do.
At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for you as an individual. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences freely.
I draw on a range of therapeutic models — including CBT, psychodynamic, and attachment-based approaches — to tailor our work to your unique needs, rather than fitting you into a single framework.
I work sensitively with the impact of trauma, always at your pace. My practice is grounded in safety, trust, and an understanding of how past experiences shape the present.
With younger clients, I use age-appropriate, creative methods — including play, art, and storytelling — to help children express and process their inner world in a way that feels natural to them.
What to Expect
The first session is a chance for us to meet, for you to share a little about what's brought you to therapy, and for me to explain how I work. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with — we go entirely at your pace.
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation — by phone or video — so you can get a feel for whether we might be a good fit before committing to anything. I want you to feel confident in your choice.
